Video TranscodingThe task of transcoding has become significant in current applications, and, in the foreseeable future, its importance and complexity will continue to grow. On the one hand, this growing significance results from an ever-increasing number of formats, standards and types of compressed video presentation. There is already a tremendous number of these formats and standards in use, but it is sufficient to point out MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DivX, H.264, H.261, H.263, Flash Video, MPEG TS, AVI and MOV. On the other hand, different requirements are imposed upon video quality, depending on the application, the transfer channels and the displays being used (such as IP, digital cable and satellite television, as well as video transmission via 3G mobile networks for display on cell phones or smartphones, Internet video broadcasting with different bandwidths, DVD, HD DVD and so on). Nevertheless, aside from the technical complexities that originate sheerly from the large number of formats and from the wide range of options and profiles available in modern video compression standards, it is necessary to solve a range of scientific problems in the area of transcoding. Some typical processing tasks performed on input video while doing complete transcoding include deinterlacing, frame rate conversion, resizing or change of resolution and deblocking. YUVsoft is able to solve such problems using our range of already-existing and proofed algorithms. We OfferBasic types of collaboration:
