Depth Propagation (stereo)

This is a stereo video.

Background Reconstruction

Background modeling and reconstruction is essential in many video processing algorithms. A notable example is stereo or multiview video generation based on the original video and its depth map. The usual short-cut approach to deal with occluded areas is to increase the size of foreground objects to minimize amount of unknown areas. Background reconstruction and synthesis on the basis of motion information and inpainting allow to considerably increase quality of such processing. Our algorithm can detect and remove foreground objects automatically. It can also use external masks for foreground areas.
